What is the range (min/max) of the resistance of the pull-up/down resistors built into the IO?

Latest Updated:05/09/2016

Question:

What is the range (min/max) of the resistance of the pull-up/down resistors built into the IO?

Answer:

The specs of the pull-up resistors built into the IO are specified in terms of current value. For the USB pin, they are specified in terms of resistance value. This information is included in the common manual for RZ/G1 Specifications Common to RZ/G Series Products). Please refer to it.

・3.3V-IO
  VCCQ = 3.0 to 3.6 V and Vin = VSS
  Pull-up current [IPU]: min. 8 uA, max. 250 uA

・1.8V-IO
  VCCQ18 = 1.7 to 1.9 V and Vin = VSS
  Pull-up current [IPU]: min. 6 uA, max. 240 uA

・USB High-Speed Output Driver
  DP pull-up resistor (on-chip) [RPU]
  Idle state: min. 0.9 kΩ, max. 1.575 kΩ
  Receiving state: min. 1.425 lΩ, max. 3.09 kΩ
  Pull-down resistor (on-chip) [RPD]: min. 14.25 kΩ, max. 24.80 kΩ
