Debug 78K0 microcontroller (emulator): How E1 differs from MINICUBE2

Latest Updated:10/24/2014

Question:

When debugging with the 78K0 microcontroller by using the emulator, what are the differences between the E1 and MINICUBE2?

Answer:

The difference is clock frequency which is supplied from the emulator.
With the E1, only 4-, 8-, or 16-MHz clock signals can only be supplied.
With MINICUBE2, a 4-, 8-, 16-MHz clock signal can be supplied, or a clock with a different frequency can be supplied by switching the oscillator on the 78K0-OCD board.

There are no other differences.
