What would happen if I set ILVL0-ILVL2 to ""7"" ?

Latest Updated:10/10/2006

Question:

When the interrupt priority level select bits (ILVL0-ILVL2) are "0"(disable the interrupt) and interrupt request bit (IR) is "1" (interrupt request), what would happen if I set ILVL0-ILVL2 to "7" (interrupt: served, the interrupt priority level: the highest priority)?
Will the interrupt routine be accepted?

Answer:

The interrupt routine will be accepted if the interrupt flag(I flag) is "1"(served), but the operation timing is affected by the non-maskable interrupt or other interrupts which make ILVL0-ILVL2 "7" (in process or not etc.).
