Can the counter be restarted by the count enable?

Question:

When using the TIO Timer in "noise processing input mode", although an effective level signal continues to be input from an external TIN pin, counting is stopped by under flow of the counter. Can the counter be restarted by the count enable? Moreover, what is the value of the counter at the time of the restart if the counter enable can restart?

Answer:

Yes, the counter can be restarted by count enable.

The counter restarts from the value that has been set in the reload register upon count enable restart while the input signal at the external TIN pin remains asserted.
