(Serial Interface) Are there any precautions I need to take when using an external clock as the synchronous clock? [2006/01/16]
Since the clock cannot be controlled internally, note the following points and control the external clock.
- After the SST instruction is executed, the serial interface transfer end flag (SIOF) is set to 1 following eight counts of the clock.
- The initial input level of the external clock pin must be driven high.
- After reset is deasserted, the initial value of SOUT is "Hiz".
