(Pin, I/O Port)  When leaving unused pins open, how should the output latches be set? [2008/03/26]

Answer:

D0-D4: Disable key-on wakeup.
Do not set the output latch to 0 when the pull- up transistor is ON.

D5: Disable INT pin input.
Disable key-on wakeup.
Do not set the output latch to 0 when the pull- up transistor is ON.

D6-D7: Disable key-on wakeup.
Do not set the output latch to 0 when the pull- up transistor is ON.

P00-P03: Disable key-on wakeup.
Do not set the output latch to 0 when the pull- up transistor is ON.

P10-P13: Disable key-on wakeup.
Do not set the output latch to 0 when the pull- up transistor is ON.

P20-P23: Disable key-on wakeup.
Do not set the output latch to 0 when the pull- up transistor is ON.

P30-P33: Disable key-on wakeup.
Do not set the output latch to 0 when the pull- up transistor is ON.

C: Any value of output latch and CMOS output format is acceptable.
Do not select CNTR input as the timer 1 count source.
